The sports complex offers track athletes a 6-lane 400m tartan track and facilities/equipment to practice sprints/hurdles, jumping evens, javelin throw, and shot put.

The outdoor complex also has a 100-meter warm-up track, and a tartan fitness trail (1,284 meters long). Route options for road running can also be found close to the sports complex.

Sports Complex VRSA is located on the Algarve coast of Portugal, close to the resort town of Monte Gordo. The athletics complex offers track and field athletes both indoor and outdoor facilities.

The outdoor area offers track athletes an 8-lane 400m track and facilities/equipment to practice all running and jumping events + separate fields/areas where all throwing events can be practiced.

Next to the outdoor track, athletes can find a well-equipped gym and an indoor athletics area. The indoor area has a 4-lane 80m track, long/triple/high jump/pole vault pits, and net cages for throwing practice.

The athletics stadium is surrounded by good routes for road and trail running making it a popular destination for middle and long-distance runners. Some of the best routes can be found in the area between the athletics stadium and Monte Gordo.
